The MCASS Test for F2 Doctors

The MCASS Test for F2 Doctors has been developed to help you to compare your career and job aspirations against the day to day reality of specialists in each major medical discipline.

Stage 1. Collects user information for result feedback.

Stage 2. Contains 40 questions which may be rated from 0 (disagree) to 5 (agree). The questions are into 6 parts. These include;

  1. Basic sciences.
  2. Procedures and technology
  3. Patient relationships and timeline
  4. Investigative and analytical parameters
  5. Breadth of medical knowledge
  6. Life priorities.

Stage 3. A scoring algorithm compares your scores against the median scores for each of the 10 major medical disciplines. You receive your feedback immediately and a copy is sent to your email.

To get the best result from MCASS try and think what aspects of your job you enjoy or do not enjoy. A wide spread of answers will help to give more accurate feedback. Do not ponder on the question but follow your instinct. Do not try and fit in with a specific speciality, we'll do that for you!

Use of GMC Number

To help us to improve the accuracy of the test result, the GMC number will be collected during the test. The GMC number is there to enable recall and avoid duplication of inputs.
